Idaho mortgage license lines
The 120th Annual Report covers July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. The letter is dated 2025-10-06. License lines below use that fiscal year. Company, branch, person, Credit Code lender, collection class, bank, credit union, NMLS identity, and HMDA activity stay separate. This page does not rank lenders and does not publish one Idaho lender total.
Mortgage broker, lender, and servicing licenses
2,584
The report's own sentence. Prior year 2,488. Company versus branch is NOT_SEPARATED.
Mortgage loan originators
8,641
Individual licensees. Prior year 7,743. Not added to the 2,584 company-side line.
Named NMLS roster
NOT_ACQUIRED
NMLS Consumer Access is a search. A missing roster is not zero licensees. Graph writes: 0.
Residential Mortgage Practices Act
The fiscal year 2025 annual report says the number of licensed mortgage brokers/lenders and servicing companies increased from 2,488 to 2,584. Servicing companies are inside that sentence. This page does not split them out. Licensed mortgage loan originators increased from 7,743 to 8,641 individual licensees. Those persons are not companies. SHA-256 aa60c854f7dc161e685019d78804d7648680621b19f5051ba527aa136b6a84da. File size 9,976,715 bytes.
Department-wide licensing and registration filings rose from 241,211 to 244,862. That is every finance filing in the letter, not an Idaho mortgage count. Restitution of 2,248,216 dollars and complaint recoveries of more than 203,584 dollars are money figures, not license populations and not a complaint count.
Other department classes
Idaho Credit Code Regulated Lender licensees decreased from 822 to 817. That statute is not the Residential Mortgage Practices Act. The 817 are not added to the 2,584.
Idaho Collection Agency Act, same report, not added to mortgage: collection agencies 1,340 to 1,323; debt buyers 89 to 83; credit repair 7 to 5; debt settlement 22 to 24. Credit counselor licensees are printed as declining slightly to 22. That sentence does not give a clean prior count. Individuals registered to act for collection agencies went from 49,578 to 44,962. Those people are not mortgage loan originators.
As of June 30, 2025, the Bank Section reports 9 Idaho state-chartered banks under direct supervision and 11 host-state banks chartered elsewhere. Idaho-based banks on that date: 10 (9 state-chartered banks and 1 federal savings bank). As of the same date, 16 Idaho state-chartered credit unions are under direct supervision, plus 13host-state credit unions. The report's Idaho-based credit union line is a different clock, June 30, 2024: 26 (16 state-chartered credit unions and 10 federal credit unions). These charter counts are not mortgage licenses and are not added to each other.
Owned 2025 HMDA slice
The file already in this repository has 24 county-market rows, 2,356 lender-county activity rows, 529 LEI summaries, and 144 high-confidence LEI mappings. 14 markets are named. 24 rows are not all 44 Idaho counties. Ada County, one county, has 16,030 originations. That figure is not a statewide total. County origination lines are not added. HMDA is not a license. The slice was not rebuilt for this page.
