Exact identity coverage in the acquired corpus: 35 NMLS companies, 17 FDIC, 84 NJ state references. 262 unresolved respondents are not attached to public company profiles. 224 individuals remain internal-only.

New Jersey financial-institution landscape

Charter type is not a mortgage license, not a broker license, and not NJHMFA participation. Appearance on this list is not a consumer recommendation.

Official current list: 114 institutions as of 2026-09-02.

  • State-chartered banks and savings institutions: 38
  • State-chartered credit unions: 6
  • Federal charters listed by NJDOBI: 27
  • Out-of-state banks: 39
  • Out-of-state thrifts: 2
  • Limited-purpose trust companies: 2

Mortgage servicer regulatory context

New Jersey maintains a mortgage-servicer framework separate from an RMLA lender license. The 2025 annual-report worksheet distinguishes mortgage-servicer licensees from RMLA-licensed mortgage-servicer registrants. Licensee-level annual-report results (loans serviced, delinquency, foreclosures commenced) have not been acquired as a public file.

Do not read a missing roster as zero servicers, zero delinquencies, or zero foreclosures. Delinquency is not misconduct. Foreclosure commenced is not a violation.

What changed

A policy bulletin is not adverse evidence against participating lenders.
