Research a U.S. lending institution as one canonical record: official identifiers, HMDA 2025 mortgage activity, CFPB complaint evidence, and Regulatory & Enforcement History. This is not a ranking, not a recommendation, and not the same as local catalog pages at /local-lenders.
Search published research profiles
Search by institution name or NMLS Institution ID. National profiles also accept FDIC certificate, NCUA charter, or LEI. Namespaces stay separate: NMLS 3030 is not FDIC 3030. NMLS Individual and NMLS Branch IDs are not company search keys.
A controlled set of published research profiles is searchable here. It is not a complete U.S. lender directory and not a ranked list. Currently searchable: 181 national public profiles and 130 Florida public profiles (311 unique company profiles). National indexability remains 180.
What these profiles are
One canonical institution has one national research profile. Identifiers stay in their own namespaces. Bank holding companies are not listed as operating lenders. Local catalog pages at /lenders are a separate product.
HMDA mortgage activity
Activity shown on profiles uses the HMDA 2025 reporting vintage, not 2026 lending. Geography is observed mortgage activity. It is not a license map, branch network, or service territory.
Consumer complaint evidence
Profile totals include only complaints that could be deterministically attributed. Unresolved source labels stay excluded. Complaint counts are not ratings, quality scores, or recommendations.
Regulatory & Enforcement History
Confirmed attributable regulatory events are separate from consumer complaints. When no attributable events are observed, that is source-limited evidence — not proof that no enforcement history exists.
Servicer role
Labels are Confirmed, Historical, or Not established. Not established means the role is not established in connected evidence — not a finding that the institution is “not a servicer.” Role evidence is not a quality score.
Sources
Profiles draw from HMDA/FFIEC, CFPB, FDIC, NCUA, GLEIF, and federal enforcement records. NMLS Institution IDs appear where they were deterministically acquired. Company NMLS coverage is partial because national bulk Consumer Access is constrained. Source dates are reporting vintages or official as-of dates, not ingest dates.
